Back in the gym

Today was the first day back in the gym since World’s Toughest Mudder last weekend. I took a few days off completely and then started running late last week.

It felt good to be back in the gym lifting a little weight. I am shifting my focus in 2018 to less weight lifting and morning running with the hopes of completing a 100 mile ultra marathon. I want to start to reduce my size over the next few months to reduce the amount of weight I am carrying. I still plan to lift twice and week but I will be focusing on lower weight and high reps.

Today’s workout

  • 6 Rounds
    • 5x deadlift
    • 10x push-ups
  • Ladder
    • Reps/Cals 5-10-15-20-25-20-15-10-5
      • KB Swing
      • Goblet squat
      • Row for calories

I hardest part of this workout was the goblet squats. Are reps 15-25 and back down my legs were on fire!
