Today’s workout is a good mix of lighter squat volume and a metcon to get your lungs and muscles burning.
I am still nursing my right calf muscle today. It feels much better than it did yesterday but it’s still sore when I stretch it. I was able to do this workout without much pain. As with most injuries, I should probably be resting longer, but I hate taking time off. I subscribe to the mantra that if what I’m doing isn’t causing the injury to hurt then I’m probably ok. I did try to jog for about 30 meters and it didn’t feel good so I know I’m not ready to run.
Tomorrow is typically my track workout, but I will skip that and row for 30-40 minutes. I am hoping I will be able to run this weekend.
